Did they drain the oil to get your sample or get it out of the oil filter?Well it is at the dealership again. There was no arguing this time, and did not sign their typical services agreement. Just verified oil level and took my oil sample to send off.
Picture is not that good but it is over the dipstick onto the cable.....View attachment 536146

I didnt even know something like this could actually happen in bone stock engine. I read thru this thread from the beginning, a lot of info here. Question is now whats going to happen?
About how many miles are/were on the oil? Noticed your 100c Viscosity was down to 10.8 ( iirc ****** its 14.6) just a bit higher then mine was at 10.2 but then I had 4743 miles on mine, but after seeing your UOA with >10% fuel in oil I think I best be looking at my oil level its been about 1K since the oil was changed...yeah no kidding. I figured i would be good to go for the next 15-20 years leaving it stock. The Def system is horrible in all the trucks right now. Keep track of your Regen cycles, use OEM air filter and check your oil like you did when 16 years old with your hooptie lol. I do not think mine is from Regen mode but in the last month i have done a lot of research and found a whole lot of trucks with issues and the dealer cant fix it. 2022 seem to be the red headed step child. I have no idea whats going to happen now still waiting for the dealers response and Ram care to call me back.

I stopped by today and had a short talk with Krysta, before i go back next month I want to do a 400+ mile drive, then will let them know what day I will be by to park it for a few hours so all the oil has time to drain to the pan, I'll leave it locked on the lot so no one can easily fool with it , then come back so we all can check oil level and they can witness me pulling the oil sample, I hope its less than 2% (I can dream right) so far no one is willing to say what's safe or acceptable for the 2019+ 6.7l...400miles. It's >10% dilution. So probably 26% fuel in there per dip stick reading.

Man don't tell me to do that...I never checked my oil at 16...lol
I have a really bad habit of not doing that even to this day.
Your situation really sucks, they better make right on your behalf.
If you don't do what they want and it blows, they won't cover it. If you do, they will try to claim nothing is wrong....you can't win.
I see no option but to do what they say. As much fuel as that engine is making, it may not make it through the test. Then they can argue that you blew it up.
The very few times I have ever used a dealer for service, except for one, I had a bad experience as far as quality of the mechanic.
Don't expect much from them is all I can say.....View attachment 536540
OMG what a load of So they seem to think a new DPF an changing the CCV will fix / stop the fuel from getting in the oil Heck I'm sure that you know can buy Rotella T-6 5w40 for less than $27 gallon at Walmart, a Fleetguard filter is under $20 and they charge $75 install fee = $176 that is still lower then the $225 they want for an oil change with Rotella T-6 5w40 an a cheap Mopar oil filter.. So what's the extra $165 fee for BTW are you using B-20 or our standard crappy B-5 diesel?
