    Don’t trade in your Ram

That 2020 looks really nice. The new body style Ram is a very nice and solid truck. The interior layout is well done and Ram has the best riding truck out there. I would be tempted, but then again your going to have to make the payments, so I am always cautious about telling anyone they should...

    Don’t trade in your Ram

I have a Big Horn, it has some stuff but isn’t really loaded up. I was looking at a GMC Denali or SLT, which when compared to my Big Horn had more options. So that’s what I meant regarding the bells and whistles.

    Don’t trade in your Ram

If your still under warranty I would take it in and see what they could do for you. That’s not right.

    Don’t trade in your Ram

FYI , the dead pedal in the Ford and GMC are not removable , in that they are part of the metal firewall. I guess it’s a personal choice, I have a trick knee that I need to be able to stretch out when I drive. Plus , if your a tall guy why would you want a restriction on leg room that was...

    Don’t trade in your Ram

Was looking to take advantage of the trade in values. Went to both a Ford and GMC dealership to trade in my Ram. Thought I would buy something different with more bells and whistles. Well, I changed my mind real quick once I test drove the Sierra 1500 and the F150. Both are nice trucks but with...

    Slow slow speed turning vibration

I have a 2019 BigHorn with 43k miles and my truck has always had the vibration , especially first thing in the morning or if I haven’t driven it for a few days. Took it in a couple of times, they couldn’t figure out a fix. They told me it was because the steering fluid was cold and needed to...

Consumer Report 2019 Minor Engine Issues

Saw in the most recent Consumer Report that they listed the 2019 could have minor engine issues. Does anyone know what minor issues people are having. I have the Hemi, so far so good with 38k miles.

    Pulsating Vibration

When I drive my truck out of the garage in the morning and turn the steering wheel I get a pulsating vibration that last for a couple of seconds or so. Once I go down the road it stops. Any ideas?

    Floor Mat Recall

Just got a recall notice for my driver side floor mats . I guess there is a problem with it interfering with either the brake or gas pedal. Going to take it in and find out what needs to be done.

    Ram v 2021 F150

I just love competition , saw the unveiling of the new F150 last night. I thought Ford took a lot of Rams ideas and integrated them into their new truck, especially with respect to the interior. As a truck guy, I think it’s all good because with each generation these (expensive) pieces of...

    Rear Step Recall

I got my foot stuck in mine when I tried to kick it in. I haven’t used it since then, lost a toe nail. Ouch!

    4x4 in Snow and Mud

Took my Bighorn into the woods after 2 solid days of rain, needless to say it was very muddy. My truck has Bridgestone street/truck tires. Put it in 4wd high, I didn’t get stuck , the truck slid all around. Had a good time. Just curious as to what others are experiencing when using 4wd , what...

    Jumping Off

I have been told not to jump off either the truck or other cars because of all the electronics in today’s trucks/cars. These trucks are upwards of 60 to 70k, if you get an electronic issue they are sometimes hard to fix. Any thoughts?

What are you guys using to protect your truck?

I use turtle wax ice. It doesn’t leave a white residue on plastic, can be used on headlights , seems to do a good job.

    Safety Ratings

Just saw the IIHS safety ratings for trucks and the Ram got a 2019 Top Safety Pick +. What put them in this category were the headlights for the Laramie and Limited. I have a Bighorn and my LED headlights are great, they even have a side light when I make a turn. This truck continues to surprise...

Think of buying a 2020 big horn crew with night edition. Need opinions.

Love my truck, have a 4x4 with the sport package, Hemi, navy and more. Had a F 150 before this truck, like this truck better.

    2019 Bighorn or Warlock

I have the new body style Bighorn with the V8. Traded in my 2018 F150. I have owned 5 F series trucks and this is my first Ram. Love the V8, get 16 or so around town, and 19 to 21 on the highway. This is the first truck that my wife likes to drive. Lots of power, great ride, like the Bighorn...

    Hemi Specifcations

I have tried to google the specifications of the Hemi engine and have struck out. I did find discussions and videos re a cam shaft issue, don’t know if that’s still a problem. Any suggestions?

Rams sales up 56.4%! Now the #2 best selling truck!

Every motor magazine or test site I have seen has the Chevy and GMC trucks third behind Ford and Ram. Also check out the IIHS crash test site, the GM products did not do near as well in some of the crash tests either. What’s really funny is GMC’s foldable bed gate, it’s a horrible design in that...

2019 Bighorn? Or Tried and True Gen 4?

I have a 5th generation, I live in Florida, and it is now August. No issues with my AC , it works great. My truck was built in December 2018, don’t know if that makes a difference. Maybe they bottled some of that Michigan winter and put it in the compressor .

    87 or 89 octane

Just bought a new Ram Bighorn with the 5.7 Hemi. I was looking at the online owners manual and it said 89 octane was recommended but 87 octane was acceptable . Which one should I use? I have used both at different times and can not tell the difference. Any suggestions?

From a Ford to a Ram

Just traded my 2018 XLT Ford FX4 5.0 for a 2019 Bighorn 4x4. I had an issue with oil consumption on the Ford, so I traded for the Ram. I have owned 5 Ford F series trucks and they were all solid. Here are my observations between the Ram and the Ford. The Ford’s are solid well built trucks that...
