Have 4 inch zone lift with Bilsteins @ 2.1. Can’t decide if I want to go with 1.5 or 3 inch body lift..... Any pics with similar setup as mine or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can look at custom offsets website- they have a body lift option for trucks when you search their gallery.

Here are some pics I’ve saved as I’m hoping to do a body lift on my Rebel this summer (Rebel height might be about same as your bilsteins) 3a0c0ad62abd5ed88f0feace94ccf15f.jpg

@8SpdHemi that’s the way I have been leaning. I have a brush guard on the front of mine so I’ll have to have new brackets made I’m assuming for that. As for the exhaust how do you fix the distance needed to get back under outlets and is adjusting steering extension needed with the 3BL?

I'm getting a Gridiron winch bumper made up for my truck and the shop is just gonna make custom bumper brackets to accommodate the body lift.

The exhaust shop did a really nice job with lifting the exhaust back into place and putting it back into factory place, was a great time to redo the factory exhaust with new 2.5" piping and dual Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I'll take pics of it when I get back into town.

The PA body lift comes with everything you need to do the job.

Cheers

What about the zone one? PA or zone is there really any difference you think? Making those brackets will be a pain in the ass I’m sure as I’ll have to make sure and get the exact measurement and placement figured out

The PA body lift was a better price over the zone one. And everything i read online and what guys were using on their trucks were the PA one with no difficulties or problems. So thats why I went with PA.

Best of luck.

I have a 1.5" Zone on my 17 that was on my 14 before I switched it to PA 3". The 3" was easier to install but requires a little more thought to get the tail pipes to look good again from the side . I have used the PA 3" on a number of my Rams in the past and never a regret or an issue

Anyone’s run in to cooling issues with 3 in body lift? I know they were issues with cooling in the 3rd gen Rams, with the older main fan being 3 inch higher then the engine.

Had no cooling issues with 4th 3rd or 2nd gen . Had BL on the three Gens . 03 I had to cut and add pieces to the rad shroud which came with the PA kit then, my 08 I trimmed the lower part of the shroud with a dremel , 14 and 17 I just removed the bottom piece . cant remember the 99 and 00

Decided and just bought 3 inch PA body lift! Can’t wait to get it out with lift I currently have! Few questions.... will my 35 inch tires look goofy now? Currently have a brush guard that was mounted to frame bc didn’t have tow hooks. Anyone know how this will work now with moving body up 3 inches....

I’m not sure the brush guard will work anymore as the frame to body holes won’t align as they do now (which is why tow hooks get removed on body lifted trucks).

That’s what I am afraid of. I was hoping I could get some brackets fabricated for it where it’s mounted now. Was hoping someone on here had ran into this issue before and maybe had some recommendations. Thanks for help

I hope someone does and is able to help you out. However if it mounts like the tow hooks it seems short of having some fab skills and a welder there are not many solutions...

Good luck.

Post pics of the BL once installed.
