Gearing is my only regret. I’ve got the 3.21.

Ditto... I'm fortunate in that I only drag maybe 3500 lbs tops most times (and good news - bed payload, where I abuse it the most, is still nice and massive!) But then, I bought mine used, so I gots what they hads. Still okay with it, though I do find myself itching to research what it would take to bump the gearing up to 3.55 - though on a 4x4, I think that involves both front and rear? I've seen some sites say both, some say only the rear (which sounds mega-weird, considering)... I dunno. If I feel like it, I'll dork with mine maybe after the 60k mile mark, once the P/T warranty is done and the missus won't complain if I did.

Yes, 4x4 requires regearing the front to match the rear.

I ran RAM dealerships for many years and have driven a mountain of HEMI trucks. I recently bought a V6 quad Express 4x4 with 3.21s and I am thrilled with it!

I travel extensively for work and I've already been over 24 mpg (average) on several long trips. One trip I was 24.8.

To get that kind of economy out of a full size truck is amazing.

We have a large popup camper but its around 2500 lbs loaded with gear. The truck does very well with that in tow and 4 people in the cab.

I'm exceedingly pleased with the performance of the V6.

Just got back from a short 100 mile run. about 50 down and 50 back. Went through a couple of milestones in relation to gas mileage. I haven't reset the fuel economy calculator in at least the last 4 fillups so it's a long running average. This pentastar just blows me away. As I put more miles on it the mileage keeps getting better and better. I'm running 60-65 or so, mostly slow (right) lane interstate driving but some city traffic too. Loop is about 51 or 52 miles one way. Had my camera handly (09-03-2019) yesterday, after I broke through 25 mpg I saw it kept going up and up. When it hit 26 I got out the camera and keep snapping away as it hit 27.

I have the 8 speed with a 3.21 rear end. Chrysler really built a fantastically efficient engine to pull a quad cab short bed pickup down the road. I wonder how much more a standard cab shortbed would get?
