@JB1 Silly question for you. Can I run the 5160 without having a lift?
Yes you can, they are rated from 0-1” lift

Thank you sir. Still pleased with yours? Kind of going back and forth between those and the 5100s...
I have the 5100’s, I haven’t found a 5160 long enough for my application
As I posted earlier, they are differencesThey are the same except for the reservoir

Wen I stated they are the same I was referring to the extended and collapsed length and the piston size of 46mm, there is No extra travel on the Ram application as the video states for the Silverado, here's the specs directly from the Bilstein website. The extra capacity the reservoir gives is a nice upgrade though. Don’t get me wrong I would love to own a set if I could find some for my 5” coils

Just got my Bil 6112 in the front and 5160 in the read installed with Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 35" (stock 20's), along with EBC heavy duty truck brakes yesterday (10/31). MOTHER OF GOD!!!! 2.5 inch lift from the 6112's alone, and it rides freaking fantastic. smooth, doesn't lean, is NOT harsh... the tires, zero hum even at 75mph. Im in bad street california (palmdale), this truck is WAY funner to drive now. The brakes, no more squishy, soft, wont stop type brakes. They bite flawlessly and with very little effort. No nose dive... and hitting a turn with bump doesn't send the truck bouncing all over. Very flat and smooth. LOVE IT!
just a quick question. but after installing the rear bil 5160 does this raise your rear 1"? because i want to keep a little rake on it. or do you have to buy spacers or new springs to raise it an inch?
Thanks.Rear shocks do not provide any lift whatsoever
Hey JB, What is the maker of your 3" rear coils? (reading your sig) Are they BDS as well?
