Good afternoon! I have a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi with 101,000 miles. I have noticed a chirping sound coming from the truck that is different from my broken studs on the exhaust manifold. This chirping sound has been around for the last 20,000 miles I estimate. I do not hear the hemi "tick coming from the engine" it is a weird chirping sound that I cannot pinpoint. I started off using castrol 5w-20 for the first 60,000 miles and then switched to Penzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-20 since then. The exhaust manifold on the driver side and passenger side was replaced under warranty at 45,000 miles. They broke again at 90,000 and I have not got around to fixing it as it seals off after heating up for a minue. I had a misfire on cylinder 6 (P0306 code) back on November 2023. I went ahead and replaced the cylinder 6 ignition coil and performed a tune up replacing the 16 spark plugs. That fixed the issue and the truck runs like new. Should I be worried about this chirping? I would like to stay on top of it before any lifter issues or damage to camshaft lobes. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I love this truck and want to go to at least 200,000 miles.
