2009 ticking inside

I know I read the other day someone had a ticking noise in the passenger side by the glove box. Believe it was related to AC/Heater. My dad says his heater isn't blowing hot air. Cause? Fix?

temperature blend door. if he has dual zone climate control he will need to figure out which side has gone bad

How's easy is that to replace?

i havent looked under the dash on these trucks nor have an idea where it is. some cars you get lucky and can get to the motor with out taking too much out. some you have to take out the whole dash. if i was going into my shop tomorrow i would look on mitchell for a diagram but alas its thanksgiving. you could turn it on stick you head under the dash and feel around for the ticking, if you think you found it uplug the motor/actuator and itll stop

I had the same problem took all of about 20 minutes to fix and i used this video to guide me. It was really easy and the part cost around $20.00 at the dealership. How to video here.

Took a look after doing a search online and its the one right behind the lower glovebox
