2012 1500 5.7 p0441 code...

ok, so 3 days ago I got in the truck and went to fill up. The gas tank tube fills up and shuts off gas pump. then I have to wait for it to lower and fill the tube again. Did not fill tank, only half. Drove it the next day, removed gas cap to put in more gas and there was A LOT of pressure behind gas cap. Had to go through same process filling truck, .10$ at a time... same day engine light came on with p0441 code. I know there are multiple “fixes” but has anyone had this exact problem and might be able to point me to the right place without me buying 20 different 20$ parts first? Thanks.

If you having problems filling the tank, it is most likely the roll-over valve in the gas tank.

Insert face palm here....

It was a dirt dobber nest on the vent tube behind the gas door in the wall of the bed of the truck... problem solved
