finally found a carrier to have machined, so i can do the gear swap. Its off to Fasthemi for machining tomorrow. cant wait to get rid of the 355s!

Probly not til October, have to budget more mod money for the install

Yep, can't wait! Its the same ratio I had in my SRT QC. Thats my ultimate goal with this truck, similar performance to a stock SRT, but with the ride quality and extra cab room of the 4g.

I am in the same boat as you... i hope to place my order tomorrow for the detroit trutrac and mag hytec cover, then gotta save up about $500 for the install

I'm jealous! Thats one thing that still eats me up that I couldnt get; I wanted a REAL LSD instead of OEM... I've read Eaton won't make them for the 9.25ZF rears until chrysler commits to a 3 year design freeze, which they arent ready to do.

im sure theres a thread on here but i cant find it. im switching out my rear end and putting in 4.56 to help move my 37s and was wondering if its necessary to upgrade my dif cover as well. aside from a drain plug are there any real benefits. 2007 ram 1500 quad cab 2wd

About a quart more gear oil & cooling fins.
Magnet on the drain plug also.
Mag Hytec has o-ring for seal.
