2013 upper control arms

I know this is a bad picture.. But does this look to be one of those lifting ball joint problems. I have a 2.5 level on the truck..

The pic is not the best. Try to get better ones with more light but it looks that your ball joints have busted thought the upper control arm. I still don't get why dodge cheaped out for the 13-14 year model on this.

Yes, your joints are lifting out of the arm.

When someone has a chance, can they post one that hasn't popped out? I just want to compare the two, that's all. It looks normal to me, so I don't know what to look for exactly.

I have a 2012 ram and I'm at work so I can't do it.

As far as tack welding vs replacing with a zone arm.. What's the cons of the weld

Never heard of tack weld as a fix for that.

Really.. You would knock the joint back down and then put about 4 tacks around the top where it meets the arm.. I've heard of ppl doing it before

A tack would probably hold it. The problem however these ball joints pop because they are maxed out beyond their range of motion. I bought a set of Zone arms and im am very happy with them. They are pricey but I think they are a great value for what you pay. Very heavy duty and a serviceable ball joint.

Super easy. Took me maybe 2 hours start to finish. And that includes jacking the truck and numerous breaks to have my 3 year old help me and hand me tools. You won't be sorry. The piece of mind knowing its fixed right really did it for me. 400 bucks is a drop in the bucket when you figure out how much it would cost if the upper ball joint let loose on the highway or something.

Does anyone know of any other companies making after market control arms I'm trying to level out my truck w/o spending a **** ton of money lol. I love everything those zone ones but ryt now they're too rich for my blood
