Not sure this is gonna happen. #1 I'm not feeling the love with the price, and #2 I'm not totally in love with these trucks, as much as I loved my 2011 I'm just not getting that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. I want chrome bumpers dammit!

I agree on the bumpers. Chrome bumpers don't get damaged as easily by small rocks, and I think they look a little better.

I have had mine for three months and love it so far.

23,000 kms (14,000 miles) and I work it. It packs 100 gallon slip tank and a full tool box almost always, spent most of it's life so far up in Northern Alberta in extreme cold and always starts and has done some hefty towing too.

Before the first oil change it used a little oil but none since.

The only thing so far is recently it has been telling me to "service air bag system"

Today is the day. Sales guy is supposed to call me with final #'s on the 2 trucks I'm interested in.
I want a silver Big Horn or the Blackout Express. My only major demands for either are Hemi/4x4/8spd/392's. Both trucks are optioned fairly well to begin with so I'm not to picky about the other stuff.
So if I get the right #'s I might just do it. If not, new motor for the '02!

I havent had any issues with mine, but only had her for a month or so. I had an 08 and IMO this truck is leaps and bounds from my 08.

Good luck hope you get what you want.

#1) Mine has an issue with the EVIC, my settings are in Metric, but when I use Cruise Control the held speed displays in Imperial. I then have to go into the settings and re-choose metric for it show properly. #2) I hate how the gas tank filler is at a steep angle, this causes the nozzle's splash guard to scrape the paint.

Got about 800 miles on mine and love it. just got it about 2 weeks ago. big horn 4x4 quad 8 speed 3.92 axle. Lights do suck like the other guys said. I have to turn brights on if there are no street lights (and the city is too damn cheap to turn on ). For $40k it should light up the road like a stadium. Truck shut off when stopping quick at a red light. Not sure what that was about. Hasn't happened again (computer glitch maybe?). Love the 8 speed but it seems to slow it down TOO much when shifting into lowest gears sometimes. that's without me touching the gear selector buttons. Maybe a break in thing? Kind of reminds me of my motorcycle

No problems with my express since I got it in February. Lights could be better, but when I get my new bumper I plan on putting a few lights on it.

Well, there has been one problem. It keeps running out of gas every few hundred miles. Cant seem to find a fix for that one yet.

1100 miles into 6.4 Hemi 2500 and no problems at all. I love it every time I get in. This is the first Dodge I've ever owned and I'm very impressed.

So what happened?

Made a deal for a blackout express. Just waiting for paper work and crap to be processed, however I am butting heads with them over a few issues that could possibly kill the deal. I've been hearing they'll "have an answer tomorrow" since last week.

What's hanging it up? Trade in value? Sticker price?

Ha ha, basically all of the above. No really, after we made the initial deal on the sale price I then wanted to go further to bring the monthly down and haggle the trade value up. So there is back and forth on that and then the rate was magically inflated and also pushing extras on me like extended warranty, vin etch, etc...just standard dealer nonsense. However I did tell them up front about not pulling this crap on me and they did it anyway. I got my poker face on now. Give me a few bucks more on the trade (which I know is not unreasonable) and quit padding the rate to basically make me pay them for my trade on the back end.

You might consider leasing. My $48,000 truck is costing me $288/mo for 3 years with 15,000 miles a year included. Helluva deal.

Only had mine for a week. Only thing I've noticed is the set cruise control showing imperial when I have everything set in metric. Seemed to fix itself when I backed out to the previous screen. Oh and a couple of paint defects that I'm going to mention to the dealer. One along a door seam is bad enough that I can see bare metal underneath.

For a truck I am very impressed with my truck. I leased a 2014 ram black express ccsb hemi a8 and 4x4... Love the thing. Rally can't complain about anything. I've noticed a couple flickers in the screens when I open the door to enter the truck but nothing while I'm in it. Everything fits nice and tight. No rattles or squeaks. Again, the headlights are junk. Love the look but even with the HIR bulbs they stink. I'd love to get some hids in there in the mean time until I buy the truck later in so I can retro the headlights.

Call your bank and get a new car loan quote from them. If its better just tell the dealer beat it or use them.

So far the only thing I have found is I have some bubbles of the roof and back by the 3rd brake light. They are tiny maybe 1/16 around but I took it back to the dealer and they were more than happy to help they tools pictures and are getting warranty approval as I type this they plan on buffing it down we'll see if it fixes it.
