Hi all,

I have a 1500 2015 with projector headlights and I changed the bulbs to LED, I have lot's more light but there is a difference between the output of the left and right lowbeam. The left one has much lower output then the other side. Is this normal for a LHD RAM 1500? And can I change this with the Alfaobd?
I already swapped the bulbs without results.

Regards from The Netherlands

sounds like a bulb positioning issue if they are not at the correct angle the reflector inside will not throw a bright beam. you may have to look at a different bulb.also could be your ballast switch the ballst and see what happens.

I already changed the bulb but the problem is the same. I also replaced the reflector of the projector, the chrome was loose. But the left headlight still has less output. When I have some time I will measure the voltage of the lowbeam, I think it is a voltage issue or it is specially for Left hand drivers..??

This isn't the first time this topic has come up, consensus has been that it's designed that way to help minimize glare
