I have the MF 19200 setup, and while you certainly can tell when MDS is active it doesn't sound overly bad. Doesn't bother me, especially considering how infrequently the MDS engages.

Sorry if I offended you, perhaps I could have worded my post better...
I was just trying to let you know my experience with full exhaust and tune.
It seems aftermarket systems are tuned for running on all 8, as they probably assume most people who fit them are using a custom tune and disabling mds.
It's quite an expensive exercise by the time you buy a full exhaust/tuner/ecu (on later models).
I tried stock tune with mds disabled, 91 octane with mds enabled and disabled and best economy and performance was 91 octane with mds disabled. Disabling mds also gets rid of the drone and high frequency vibration that some engines seem to have with mds active.

I know this is kind of an old thread but has anyone switched the whole system from the muffler back? I have a 2015 I just bought and the previous owner put a magnaflow single in dual out muffler and ran duel exhaust on it. While it does sound good I don’t like the look of dual exhaust. Does any have a stock exhaust for sale?
