Hello all,
Been trying to find answers online with my exact problem but no luck maybe one of you can help me out. My 8.4 uconnect radio started acting funny ghosting the button across the top where it is delaminating. So I took it in and the Tech tried to do a software update which it failed and now the radio is bricked and I am okay with that as I’ll be getting a new one installed when the dealer gets it in. The real issue now is that the Uconnect screen and dash back light will not go off, period. I can shut the truck off and lock it and the radio and dash lights stay on resulting a dead battery. I’ve tried the soft resets But they haven’t done a thing. I’ve in hooked the battery and when I hooked it back up same issue after it did it’s default load. The dealership said it was bricked abs the took out a fuse, not sure what fuse they took out but does anyone know how I get this damn radio to turn off when I step away at night so I don’t have to kee the battery charger on it. Thanks for the help

Radio shows the error 20 if that helps
