2018 UAS Screens

I just recently installed a pull from another 2018 to replace my 5" screen. I've done no software updates, so this is the version that came with the radio. Is this what everyone else's screens look like? It seems that alot of other radios on here look different on the main screen. Just curious. My Carplay screen looks the same. I've included the dealers screen to show the version.

I tried the settings for themes...it just changed the splash color from red to blue to yellow...unless I missed something .

That is the theme I’m using on mine and it looks exactly the same. The one thing I miss about my non-car play radio are all the themes, the new radios have only 5 I believe.

Good to have confirmation. I appreciate the reply. I'm still working on the addition of the auto temp piece, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror once i get the harnesses run and learn how to use alpha OBD. More reading !

Alpha is awesome! I didn’t do the auto temp or the mirror. How tough is auto temp? Is it expensive?

I’ve used Alpha for
Tire size
Set all lights to led
Set low beam for HID
Turn on fog light option
DRL
Played with logos on the dash

I have a front facing camera coming as well.

Alpha is pretty easy using the info available here.

So far the auto temp was just a bump in the harness price to convert the 5.0 radio to the 8.4...so I'm glad I planned ahead with that one thanks to Mpgrimm2. I now have to get the temp and humidity sensors in ( not priced yet ) then do the programming. I think it's about another $100 in parts or so.

When you said you played with the logos on the dash..so you mean the upgraded cluster? Mine now says Power Wagon...I wasn't sure if you could change it....I would love to just have mine say RAM 1500.

Yes with Alpha you can change the logo on the dash to about any trim level, I can’t remember them all but 1500, 2500, limited, power wagon etc.
I did my radio 6-8 months ago, so I’d need the bezel with the auto switch plus harness plus sensors etc. May be more than I want to mess with. You can turn everything on with Alpha when you get it all installed.
