That probably depends on the dealer. Most, probably not.

I went with the Tazer RAM to change tire size (and other things). There are several “tuners” that will accomplish the tire size change.
Awesome info! I was going to go with 35’s but if 37’s will work I may just go bigger. Air bags first though.

I just received my Tazer RAM this week, (Thanks, Nick!). I might give it a go this weekend. Just waiting on a call back from the dealership to try and get the PIN code to set the TPMS.

One thing I had to do was print off the directions (from the internet) and keep them in the truck. It did not come with any, and it is quite tricky to use...even with directions!

Lets see some picture of these Power Wagons with 35's and 37's - preferably on stock suspensions but will take what I can get. :)

Hey just thought I’d chime in but I used alfaobd to change my tire size when I switched to 35s and it worked well. Also let’s you change other stuff. Not sure about the tpms though as I have a 1500 and that’s set at 39 lbs

Ah, it was no big deal. Im computer aliterate, and I figured out how to not only print them out, but print them small enough to fit in box the tazer came in. It all sits in the cubby under the center jump seat.

Looks like those of us with a 2018 will have to install a by pass module behind the radio with the Tazer Ram. Not sure what that involves? Anyone familiar with this?

Mine ( the red one ) has 37" but is a 2019.
The white behind has stock 33"
The white in driveway has 35" and 1.5" wheel spacers.

All are stock

Think you would get by without rubbing with the ridge grappler 37/11.50r 18 on a +18 offset wheel?

Still gonna rub.

Did you need to reprogram the shift points with transmission when you ran 37’s. I’ve read on some threads that was needed with 35’s too. I believe the dealer can reprogram v after market programmers?

I'd go the route of the AlphaOBD. I have a ProCal, Tazer and just invested in the Alpha setup and that was the best money ever spent.

Thank you for the info! I called Got Exhaust and Nick wasn’t in so they weren’t sure about getting behind the radio. I will look into the AlphaOBD

Charle's video was very useful for me:

I picked up a $35 Kindle Fire tablet & OBDLink MX Bluetooth OBD-II for 60 bucks.

Was able to change TPMS, and some other stuff with ease. Wish I had done this sooner.

I know but Help Me Beat The Horse Again.

I have searched and read and searched some more. Being that I am not made of money I was hoping you all would help me beat the horse a bit more to help me out.

I have a 2018 Power Wagon still running original tires and wheels and hate how they look. Willing to take a hit on MPG to correct this. I know I can get away with running 35’s no issues but even they look a little small still so thinking and playing with the idea of 37’s.

Regardless of going with 35’s or 37’s I have narrowed my rim selection down to three.

Backspacing: 5.8"

Method Race Wheels CJC Edition Ram 315

Offset: +25mm

Also guessing I will need to go with the RAM ProCal Module (or the like) to correct the Speedo, Shift Points, TPMS etc. for the new tire size.

Can a Pedal Commander then still be used?

I have read that IF I go with 37’s and the above rims I may get a way with no trimming to a little trimming for no rubbing but nothing significant while keeping the suspension stock.

My question though is how will she do at FULL FLEX and in more aggressive off-road conditions?

I’m averaging 11.5 to 12.5 mpg daily driving now (stop and go city – don’t know how you guys pull 14 to 16) any if I go 37’s hoping to not go below 9. MPG obviously isn’t a deal breaker or I wouldn’t have bought this truck, but still.

Thoughts, advice, experience pro’s, con’s, what am I missing and pictures of your stock suspension with 35’s and 37’s greatly appreciated.

Hey Tempster. This is my ‘18 Ram 2500 w/ Cummins on 35’s, original rims & level lift. They do look smallish, but perform well and get fair mpg. ( BFG 35x 12.5R17 a/t KO2’s )

Pics of her dirty and clean. Running 35s on AEV Saltas. Probably gonna go with 37" KM3s and I'm sure I'll have to take the splash guards off on the front at least when that change happens. f79b19c59ffafca6270f606f24879a0c.jpg99edeb3153ebe4f5d4de32d5e1aa582d.jpg

Haha. Actually not. It cost me all of 3 bucks then the damn machine wouldn't swipe my card anymore. I didn't have quarters. So spoke with the car wash guy and he just turned the bay on for me at no cost. Probably close to 40 min of spray all the mud off and out from underneath. Took and sprayed the bay down real nice for them also which a lot of people don't do.
