I agree about the big tires, the Hemi had more torque making it easier to spin them. Check for instant fuel mileage while driving as you enter a hill watch it drop as the motor has to work harder.

2wd vs 4x4.
Is the Hemi truck also a 4x4 ?
if not, there is your difference !

I wish it was that easy. These two trucks are identical. The trans even has the same final ratios. Same gear ratio. Same 4x4, same tire size, same color.

the only difference that I see, Is the transmission:
Pentastar V6 is mated to 845RE Transmission.
Hemi V8 is mated to 8HP70 , Both transmissions 8 speed same ratios, but different.
Transfer case: Same Borgwarner

These are the instructions for checking the fluid level on a trucks 8 speed,as BenchTest states you level the transmission not the truck.
So there are varying instructions online
Some have the fill plug pulled with the vehicle off and then others have the vehicle still running. What do you think?

If you pull the fill plug with the engine not running, you're gonna have a hell'va mess on the floor ;) The engine needs to be running so the transmission pump is circulating oil. The green sheet instructions are the ones that come with a brand new truck specific 8 speed, alibit for the 8HP70,but the little 845RE 8 speed is the same to fill and check the level in
