2019 Ram HK Amp Update

I came across this bulletin for an update that must be done at the dealer for the HK system for the new 2019 Ram. This is not a software update that is done by the Uconnect system. It takes about 20 minutes or so directly for the amp. My how it made a difference. If you had always had to hit the high end of the volume levels to enjoy the system, this update really pushes the system the way a 900 watt system should. I can now lower the volume and it still jams. My dealer didn't know about it so I luckily found this bulletin and printed it up and took it in. I had to push the issue, but got it done. It really did help for me.

I took this into my dealer and left extremely satisfied. I feel like i have a 900 watt system. Thanks for posting the bulletin.

Ok..Next job is to look for something like that for the alpine upgraded factory system..Get to workin..asap..lol

Went to bring mine in on saturday to get this done but they couldn't due to the technician that deals with this stuff was off and was told to call monday. Talked to them yesterday and was told to bring it in today. This morning I left it with them but they hadn't heard if this so I emailed them a screenshot of this service bulletin. Called about an hour ago asking for an update since I was never given any timeframe for completion. Guy on the phone was rude. Said the 3 recalls should be done by end of day. When I mentioned the amp he told me unless it's vin# appears with a recall or anything for this work, they wouldn't do it. I pointed out that it says all models with the system manufactured between the given dates and they still didnt care. Anything else I can do about getting the amp fixed?
