Please remember that the most important weight number to start with is the GCVWR. The gross combined vehicle weight rating includes the trailer and truck. I have your Ram and the Gross weight rating is 7,100 and the combined is around 15K ( you can find this info on the Ram towing site). A 10K trailer and empty truck are right at the limit. So, the answer is you will be overweight with this trailer. All 1/2 pickups are vulnerable to this total weight restriction. Even with 3/4 ton pickups some makes (like GM) have much high combined ratings than others, such as the Ram 2500.
