2021 Build Options

I currently have a 2017 1500 with an expiring lease. I'm planning to factory order a 2021 1500.

Has anyone seen build options for them? I worked with a dealer to build one, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I really wanted a Laramie with night edition and off road group. Mostly to get the 20" rims instead of the 22's, but also for the e-locker. I was told the combination of night and off road group isn't available on the 2021 trucks.

That got me thinking I should really compare the 2020 option inclusions vs the 2021.

Has anyone seen it on the web anywhere? I can go back to the dealer and ask but would like to read it and look it over.

2021 has some interesting new tech, specifically towing options. That would be the thing to look at VS 2020. Not sure if U can even still build a 2020, may have to but off of lot. The new tech has me thinking, as I have a MY 19 (bought Aug 2018). But the truck is paid off and only has 14K on odometer. But I do like the new towing stuff and MF tailgate. But sure not wanna go trade and end up in a truck loan for like 20-30K. Friggin decisions... LOL.

KINDA comes down to how U want yer ride optioned out and also new 2021 tech, vs 2020. The blacked out with 20" etc just sharp looking...

I'm patiently waiting for the 2021's .
Just spoke with dealer and said won't be able to build one until end of year.

Was also told the 2500's was taking on a sportier appearance similar to the 1500's.

I'm waiting on a dealer phone call through Costco auto program...the guy has been pretty flaky. Is the UConnect 5 on the 2021 for sure? What is the other new tech? I'm looking at a Granite Crystal Night Edition (which means picking a level 1 or 2 equipment group), rambox, multi-function tailgate, and sunroof. Not sure if I want the tow package with the trailer backup.

That is very similar to what I built with the dealer. Along with 3.92 axles and level 2 equipment.

I'm just not sure if anything from level 2 was moved to a tech package or if other options changed.

OK this worked for us last year while waiting for the 2020 build site to come out. Once you select what truck you want to build, you have to go into the address bar (?) at the top and change the 2020 to 2021. This worked last year. It may be too early in the year but it will work at some point. Play around with it and you should be able to get it to work. I'm not computer savvy at all and someone told me to do the above. No UConnect 5. Dealer told me possibly a mid-year release, but not the initial builds.

Some of the new tech is the tow mirrors with 360 cameras, HUD, I think the Ford trailer backup thingy and the rearview mirror is now a monitor display from the 3rd tail light camera. Those the features I can remember. I'm sure there are more depending on the package you get.
