2022 LARAMIE 1500 G/T PCKG NOSIE IN SHIFT HANDLE

I have a clicking noise coming from under my shift handle when pressing and releasing the brake when the truck is in Park or Neutral. I tried looking under the truck for some kind of linkage or loose cable. Anyone got an idea what it might be and if I would have to tear apart the center console to get to it?

OP, U got a Brand New TRUCK. Take Service Advisor for ride/or sit in truck to replicate problem and MAKE them fix it.

Just a guess, but it sounds to me that it might be the shift interlock, prevents you from shifting out of park without your foot on the brake.

Thanks, and that makes sense. Trying to further diagnose it, it will only do it with the truck running/turned on, I should've known that there is no mechanical linkage in this truck. Everything is electronically controlled.
