2025 Door autolock does not work

This 2025 is my 3rd Ram 1500 Limited. The door auto lock where it locks automatically when you move doesn't work. I have looked through every page of the settings and can't find anything about it. I have tried everything I can think of which isn't much. A family member bought an identical truck a month after ours and her's works as it should. Any ideas or answers? I didn't see anything about this when I searched.

Did it occur to you to A) read the owners manual as every Chrysler/Ram product I own has a selectable feature for that on the settings - locks page. I however don't have a 2025, B) go see the dealer you bought it from?

AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS — IF EQUIPPED
The auto door lock feature default condition is enabled.
When enabled, the door locks will lock automatically
when the vehicle speed exceeds 15 mph (24 km/h).
The auto door lock feature is enabled/disabled in the
Uconnect Settings ð page 203

Doors & Locks
When the Doors & Locks button is pressed on the touchscreen, the system displays the options related to locking and unlocking the vehicle’s doors.
NOTE:
Depending on the vehicle’s options, feature settings may vary.
Setting Name Description
Auto Door Locks This setting will allow you to change if the doors lock automatically when the vehicle
reaches 15 mph (24 km/h).
Auto Unlock On Exit This setting will unlock the doors when any of the doors are opened from the inside.
Flash Lights With Lock This setting will allow you to turn the flashing of the lights when the Lock button is
pushed on the key fob on or off.
Sound Horn With Lock This setting will sound the horn when the Lock button is pushed on the key fob. The
“Off” setting will not sound the horn when the Lock button is pushed. The “1st Press”
setting will sound the horn when the Lock button is pushed once. The “2nd Press”
setting will sound the horn when the Lock button is pushed twice.
Sound Horn With Remote Start This setting will sound the horn when the remote start is activated from the key fob.
Remote Door Unlock, Door Lock/1st Press Of Key Fob Unlocks This setting will change how many pushes of the Unlock button on the key fob are
needed to unlock all the doors. The “Driver Door” setting will only unlock the driver
door on the first push on the Unlock button. The “All Doors” setting will unlock all
doors with only one push of the Unlock button.
Digital Keys This setting will open the Digital Keys main screen, if equipped.
Passive Entry This setting will allow you to turn the Passive Entry feature (Keyless Enter ‘n Go™) on
or off.

Thank you for that! I guess I'll have to go to a dealer. And as to the other responses, of course I went to all the screens as I said in my initial post.

In addition to the Case Bulletin, if you did not find the auto lock off on box on your screens it is possible your pickup isn't equipped with them. Not all are.

Standard on every Ram truck since 2010. The bulletin above is definitely the reason the aren’t working for most 2025 owners.

Just a question, so if it has been standard on every pickup for 15 years, why does the owners manual say "If Equipped"? per what I posted above.

Whoops, sorry, incomplete answer I gave- standard on every Ram truck that has power door locks (all 2025’s have power door locks).

I have a 2025 Laramie, auto locks at 15 mph or so does not work. There is no on off switch in any settings. Dealer claims they have contacted Ram care, was told software problem, no repair available yet.
I contacted Ram care, have a Star case number but same response

Dealer claims they were told not to try to fix it. Talked to customer care an hour ago, they claim not to know anything about a fix.
A bunch of clueless people, I even showed the link to the dealer,they claim it will work on a Jeep but not a Ram

Suggest you print out the tsb. Take it and the pickup to another dealer.

I don't mean to be rude but given the horsehit this dealer is shoveling I am having trouble seeing it as a step up. Hope you manage to get it fixed.

Well I worked for 35 years at dealerships, just a matter of finding the right person who has a clue. I worked on Honda and Acura for years, this **** never happened with them

Ok, Went to the dealer today with a copy of the tsb. 2 hours later still have the same problem. New Star case number, they claim I have to wait until they hear from Ram. No eta
If you read the fine print on the bottom of the tsb it does claim this might not repair the problem

Well, at least this time they tried the fix it instead of the BS reason, it only works on Jeeps, they gave you last time. Sounds like you are making progress. Best of luck. Let us know how it works out please.

Ok, this just gets odder. Took the truck in last week with the tsb. Dealer performed the update, said it didn’t fix the problem. I know they actually tried because I had to reset all my radio presets. Looked on vehicle tab under locks, no new setting for auto locks, so I didn’t pay attention. Drove the truck Friday and the locks worked as supposed to. Might have started working sooner but I didn’t notice. Still working properly, no new tabs in settings. Very strange, but they are working. Any thoughts?
