2500 CNG delete/removal

Hi guys,

Just purchased a 2012 2500 with the 5.7 Hemi, equipped with the CNG tanks in the bed. Looking to delete the tanks and their storage box for more cargo room. Has anyone done this without having to remove the entire CNG fuel system? The truck runs on gasoline alone with the CNG is out. Can the tanks themselves be removed and the lines capped off? Thanks for your help in advance!

Just saw this. No idea. But how’s the cng? Do you not like it any issues?

CNG is cheaper than gas. So why get rid of it? Where are you located? If ya remove the entire system I may be interested in buying it from you.
