Wanted to give an update and seek some advice from people here about the site about the clicking noise issue I'm having with my 2500. A clicking noise presented about a week after I purchased my truck. Took it to the dealer and after four times going back and forth, they replaced the steering column and steering shaft. They didn't think the noise was coming from the clock spring, and the issue seemed to be resolved after the replacing the steering column and shaft. However, it's been about a month after the repair and the sound is back again.

Has anyone found a definitive solution to this problem?

Any updates on this ?
My 2019 2500 is doing this, its louder during the warmer months than it is during the cooler months ( Sacramento) I took it in a few months ago and they couldn't where the noise was coming from.

Just bought a $83,000 2024 Ram 1500 Limited DT. Steering column constantly, noticeably clicks when turning. Has anyone gotten this successfully resolved?
This is the 7th new Ram Limited I have purchased in the last 25 years and it’s always something.

It will be different things between the 2500 and 1500. But you need to start a new thread for every new issue and write as much as you can about when the clicking starts. Like worse over humps, only when turning, etc etc. You wont get much help with this little of info on someone elses old thread.

funny this thread keeps getting bump with little info.

I replied because the OP's sound is in a 2500. Why would I reply to a 2500 thread if I had a 1500?
I was trying to keep the forum less cluttered by responding to a thread that seems to point to an issue that I am also having and hopefully the participants of that thread would see a response and chime in with any update.

My bad.

read the entire thread, I was not only talking to you on that one point, but yeah on the other point, you left no info about your symptoms. Good luck with it anyhow, try RAM cares.

I suggest first lubing up the U joints with Lithium grease. I think there are 2 inside the cabin and out.

I didn't have a clicking sound but I felt something when I turned. The grease cleared it up.
