3.0 Liter Eco Diesel problems

Just had low oil pressure at idle and knocking sound luckaly was a block away from RAM service. I have the lifetime power train warranty so I let everyone know what happening.

G/L on dat and keep yer fingers crossed. Report back what was discovered. U say knocking, slight sound, far worse, top or bottom of motor? Low on oil?

(Why I got rid of my ED, did not want to play the game, but mine was a Gen 2, U have a Gen 3, all the prior issues were supposed to be remedied).

Okay, so its been a while, I've been busy! Trip Across America!
Since low oil pressure and slight knocking noise. Ram technician pulled oil pan and found gold e.g. pieces of rod bearing. All was good claim submitted and a new motor was installed dealer provided loaner for 30 days while the claim process and wtg on motor delivery and installation. I'm in about 6500 miles and one oil change and I'm happy. Lifetime power train warranty saved my ass. One thing to note original motor failure occurred at 95k miles since new motor fuel milage for the first couple of tanks was horrible but has dramatically improved and is back to 30 MPG Highway. The people at Ourisman/Lustine Ram in Woodbridge Virginia are really awesome cant say it enough Thx "D"
