I just had Toyo Proxes St 3 put on my stock 20x9 chrome clad wheels on a '15 2wd crew cab. The 305/50 20 will rub the sway bar and there is maybe an 1/8th inch clearance with the upper control arm. I'm trying to decide whether to stay with this size or switch to a 275/55 20 at least in the front since they are about an inch narrower. Also I am entertaining the idea of a 1 or 2 inch drop in the front, if I do this would the rubbing problem get worse?
Give your thoughts.

If you like the tire size them just live with the rubbing on the swat bar. This is normal to happen with the tire size you have chosen.
