3rd brake light

Looks like I've got a recon led 3rd brake light that the previous owner installed. Love the look, but the cargo light blows. Anyone have a good smoked/blacked out setup w/ a bright cargo light?

The stock one with LED's in mine is extremely bright. Was gonna tape off 3 squares and spray the outline in VHT nightshade

Yeah that's why I was asking, I was looking at the super bright LEDs from diode dulynamics. Don't really want to go back to stock and have to tint it though...

I installed one of those recently and that was my only complaint. It's not even that they aren't bright, they just need aimed down into the bed. Mine lights up the top of the tailgate and none of the bed. It does look great though!

That would be sweet. I'm definitely saving up for some headlight work from him after seeing what the red LED looks like on yours. STRAIGHT UP SEX RIGHT THERE! Sorry I get excited sometimes. That's exactly what I need to complete my front end look with the red accents!

If I ever find the OEM LED 3rd brake light with LED cargo lights. That's what I want to get. Those are very bright.
