3rd Service; 9 Months; Same Issue

Anyone else having issues with the 6.4L Hemi and the VVT or MDS or whatever they are calling cylinder deactivation at FCA these days? Mine keeps failing.

First time was 'bad gas'. Second time was 'a pinched wire'. This time they're taking the engine apart.

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Explain what exactly is “failing” please. Like your MDS just doesn’t active any more?

In CA if you have 4 service for same item in 18 mos new it will declared a lemon and the owner will get very penny back for the vehicle. I had that happen and decided to keep the truck and they had to pay me 13 grand. But it was something small, if I had that issue I'd ask for a buy back.
