4th Gen LED to LED Morimoto Harness Help

Hi guys,
Find a solution for this annoying problem.
Easyer than you think...
The Morimoto light is coming with a built in capacitor and that you just need to connect to the 1-2 (1-negative)point on the connector.
Better to order an extension cable from amazon, its about 20$. Just connect to those point and enjoy.
PS. I all ready turn on the led tail lights with the Alfaobd, and after i still had problems with the right side...

is the Resistor the external wire/black box on the back of the light that doesn’t get used on the factory led models? i have a rma given to me to return these tailights, but the options to replace end up almost 2x more than what these costs after deal. If this fixes the passenger taillight issue that many have, I’d love to know how to use the existing Morimoto resister and keep these lights.

any guide/instructions would be appreciated

Just adding this in here for anyone having the same issue as many of us I see on here have. I created this account specifically for this. You can splice into the harness after the factory connection on the taillight. Then run the white cable onto those leads and power the black box. It fixes the problem with the lamp out. I’m not sure what it’s doing to fix it but it does. Issue is completely gone. I dont understand how that easy of a fix is something morimoto can’t come up with but it works.
