5.2 low performing built engine

I have a 5.2 dodge ram 1500 1994 has a built 5.2 that's not putting out almost any power. When I bought it the guy told me I needed to program the fuel injectors but I dont know how to do any of that. My second guess is that I need a new transmission it looks stock

What is "built" about it. I see an airgap manifold and it sounds like the previous owner was an idiot

From what I can see is it has an intake manifold like pepper said, msd coil, wires, mech fan delete, intake elbow, is that a primary header pipe over on the pass side I see? And a throttle body spacer... LOL

How would you even tune a 94 other than standalone stuff or a megasquirt?

What did the guy tell you was built about it?

As far as the transmission goes, did you open it up and check out what is in it? Can't really judge based on the outside of it just like the engine.

Yeah i missed that primary tube. Those are shorties.

94 requires standalone, obd2 conversion or carb conversion

Only a 2-4 degree F difference while the vehicle is moving. That only makes a difference on a dyno
