Hey guys, I was looking for some input about my experience with a dodge dealership and the validity of how they handled it. My hemi had a loud tick and it was covered under warranty no charge to me. Before taking the truck in my ac was ultra cold. After I got the truck back my ac was blowing warm air and on my 25m drive it never got cold. I called the next day and they said they would look at it etc. So I take it in and they tell me that none of the work they did on the manifold came remotely close to the ac because they went through the wheel well. They said they were running a test to prove to me that their work had no affect on my current issue. I was furious with this situation because I know my ac was cold as can be and now it's hot. I spoke my mind a little bit the nicest I could while my blood was boiling and 15-20 min later the service tech comes to me and says that they added freon and a dye to determine if there was a leak because that's what they suspect was my issue. They did not come back and say "the test came back negative blah blah" they just sent me home with freon refilled including the dye no payment required. My ac is as cold as can be once again. Any thoughts from anyone?

Hard to say for sure. Not 'unheard of' for water pumps to go bad when the car happened to be in the shop getting the brakes serviced, Alternator goes bad after an oil change, and other 'completely unrelated occurrences' happening when in the shop.

Finding the exact location of the leak can help ~narrow down~ the possibilities,,,
