These guys make me laugh and cringe all at once. Electric turbo...

So, to make any real difference in our trucks you will need 4 of those and 3 more alternators to keep everything charged up enough to run it. Lol

And a generator in the bed of the truck to have enough power to keep everything going in case you have to go up a hill. It's why we have beds in our trucks right? To haul the generators to power the electric turbos?

What’s the best way to get some more horse power out of these motors ? Any affordable options?

my 35s are getting installed right now Nd I’m sure I’ll feel the power loss. Looking for somthing to help balance.

Diablo tuner with jay greene or hemifever tune will do the job for you! If you were a 2015 or newer I’d say pulsar, does a great job adding 20-30 horsies with way better throttle control... but it’s only made for those of us with locked pcm’s I believe.

Usually in most discussions like this most guys either can't afford or don't have the knowledge to install a supercharger like Matt has. When you start to talk about supercharging your going to a whole different level. Your right about his truck though, I think it is the fastest 4th gen street truck. He drives it to the track, races it and then drives it home. I think he does that to show just what type of potential these trucks have---depending on your budget. He is also a great driver with a lot of experience which also helps a lot and one thing that people don't think about. When you have the best equipment available and you know how to put the power on the pavement and your a great driver, the results are a truck that currently runs low 10's and will probably run in the 9's pretty soon.

Last I heard Matt was having issues with the tranny hitting the limiter Jay.I don't think he's had the truck back to the track since then,as him and Sean were trying to figure out the limiter issues.I think they figured there was another hidden tranny computor limiter that they hadn't found,but i'm guessing they'll find it eventually

I think maybe a convertor issue--I think they are working on it now
