New here!
So a couple weeks ago I removed the cat (not illegal in my little town) and my MPG have dropped a good amount, which I expected. But what I was wondering is do you guys know of any solutions to this?
dummy o2s?
Am I better off to get another cat?
My CEL is on/off at random times.

97 Dodge Ram, 5.9, 4WD
Thanks in advance!

Just an FYI...running a CAT is a federal law, it is illegal, no matter where you live to run without one.

With that being said, I have never been a fan of running without one, If you want more flow, get you a high flow cat and run it.

Removing your cat not only ruins mileage using more precious and expensive gas, but results in poor low end power and more pollution.

That's a stick in the eye to the rest of us who are trying to be legal, save gas and make power while running emissions gear. And yeah it's a federal offense, even in your town.

Like Smoked Ram said, get a high flow cat and a tuner that will work with it.
