What's up fellas

So I am looking to upgrade the stock headlights on my new 16' RAM 1500. Looking for something in bright white, possibly LED running lights but want to avoid that cheesy look. Any suggestions?

I'll most likely replace the entire headlight and not just the bulbs.

Well, just got in from replacing the oem bulbs in my 2014 2500. I took pics last night and will again get pics tonight after the replacement. As for now, I think there will be a distinct difference if looking into the lamp is any indication. oem, sort of bright and with the Sylvania H11 Ultra, definitely hurts the eyes. Hope the pics will show the difference. May even go for a short drive to see the road effect as well. Also, knowing what I know now, the bulbs are quite easy to get to and replace. After about 30 minutes of attempting to get the lamp tab to clear the slide lock discovered that after releasing the slide lock and then pulling the ball from the socket at the rear bottom, then and only then, will the tab clear the slide lock. After installing the new bulbs, I used a bit of spray white grease on the ball socket. Should help if I have to replace the bulb again. Also note, the inner lower mount bolt is about 1 1/2 inches long and probably will be difficult to pull out. Did pull the first one using a brake spring plier as it is down about 12" and not room for a hand. Maybe, a "good" mechanical finger will have enough strength to pull it??? Hope to post night pics soon.

Im really trying to understand all this. But I dont. Pictures of the locations and the bolts... And this lock.. Please?

Are these instructions for just changing bulbs? Is it actually this difficult, as it sounds?

Helps to take the grille off. 4 bolts on top under the plastic cover. Then pull forward. Two 10 mm bolts in the front on each headlight. Lock tabs, go to the front side of the wheel well. Pop the tab open. Reach up in there and feel around toward the headlight. There's a tab you have to push up, or is it down? I think it's up. Then the headlight comes out.

Really not as difficult as my previous post seemed to imply. Lol Having a full grill guard on, removing the grill isn't real easy. That said, after doing it once and knowing how and where to pull for the ball socket, which was rough and dry, is quite easy. I think five minutes was tops at changing the opposite side. I did dedicate a special socket with an implanted magnet inside to attempt to retrieve the lower mount bolt and maybe now that everything has been apart once and lubed, will be easy to extract the bolt the next time. Not sure that I will figure out how to post pics but I just took them and there is a significant difference in light output. From a yellow to a clear, clean, white light. Haven't driven it at night but am sure it will be well worth the cost, $40.00 at Walmart. If you go on line to the Walmart site, they are about $38 to $39 per pair. In the store they are $45.98. I just printed off the add and submitted it to the cashier when I purchased them. Aside from a total mod, I think it will be a big improvement for 20 minutes work and $40.
