Airbag recall

Just heard on the local news that 2015-2020 2500's and 3500's have a recall for the side curtain airbags. Said could go off unexpectedly and send shrapnel though the cab. Sounds like they may have to replace the airbags? Sounds like they might need the truck at least a few days?

You could call your dealer service department to determine the length of time needed for the recall repair.

Probably not a few days. I had my 05 in 2 times for the front airbags, it was only a couple of hours each time.
By the way, the truck was 10 years old the first time, and 11 years old the second time. LOL
