That bypass you have is only bypassing the CAN C bus (only plugs into one junction block).
The hvac module is on the CAN IHS bus, which is not being bypassed on your truck with that particular bypass.
Ok, so can you point me in the direction of the correct bypass? Thanks!

I'm gonna step out and just listen now. You probably have the most authoritative source on the internet for AlfaOBD in @Jimmy07 !

dang, big spender

i got one of these for my wifes '17 journey and it works just dandy

It’s not practical for the OP to use that one on his truck, because the radio has to be removed to use it.
The one I linked just plugs into the obd port and junction blocks near it.

practality has a price

im can have the radio in my truck in and out in 15 minutes

now, is 15 minutes of my time worth the difference in price between those two cables?
honestly, that depends on the day

Since this other bypass cable has 2 connectors, where does the other connector plug in?

Since I'm dealing with heat issues on the drivers side, I tried using the Ms can blue adapter to calibrate the blend doors but keep getting an error. Any clues as to what is going on?
Reviving an old post but I have the same "drivers side no heat" issue with my 2019. Curious if you ended up having to use BOTH the MS-CAN blue adapter and Kaodtech SGM Bypass cable?

I ended up using the KAODTech bypass. However, I ended up swapping the hoses around leading to the heater core to let the engine reverse the flow. It's been extremely hot since and I haven't switched them back. When I do, I have a coolant filter setup that I'll install leading into the heater cores bottom hose.

Highly recommend flushing the system. I have experienced personnally (and see reported across all RAM engine types) sand in the coolant (possibly from the manufacturing process). Here is what I found in my factory coolant when flushing.
