What about in the 2013 and newer pentastar? Same thing? They use 2 different fansnot sure the PWM configuration would do anything from the BCM. If memory serves correctly the PWM fan in the EcoDiesel is ran from the ECM.
not sure about the Pentastar. One of the ECM updates for the EcoD made the cooling fan scream under certain conditions. A tuner revealed that was done in the ECM on that platform, I would gather the gassers are similarWhat about in the 2013 and newer pentastar? Same thing? They use 2 different fans
I’d be curious because the ecm is what is reading engine load and coolant temp which is what changes the fan speed but the fan pwm wire I think still goes through the tipm/ipc. Everything is communicating through the canbus though. I wish I knew where my pentastar pwm fan was. I would give it a try. I still have the harness for itnot sure about the Pentastar. AlfaOBD on Windows/Android, and an OBDMX device, then you can get into the ECM, and change that. I am still working on it myself, as I have the stupid security crap, so need a bypass cable to, but I believe in OP's screenshot, under the "fan type" selection, is the temp setting, as that is at least part of what OP is working on.Hello I’m new here but I’m wondering what I can do to adjust the fan setting my fan turns on at 230
Were you able to change the temperature for the efan with alfaobd?I want to Thank everybody who responded to my post I need all the help I can get Thanks Again
