That video is VERY confusing, but I think its a slightly different setup than our RAMs. IIRC the one he is working on in the video has a column shifter, which indicates possibly a 2500? and a different transmission too.

It's the same part. The video makes it confusing is he takes the actual clock spring out of the housing. That's the way you adjust steering angle but it's definitely not necessary.

Makes no difference they all take the same clockspring and have the same steering wheels. The biggest thing is don't over think this they have to be correct yes but they don't have to be some finite adjustment. As long as you put the steering wheel back on the spines correctly and don't let the clock Spring rotate 360゚your fine. Another way to make sure you have it centered if you're that worried about it is if you have a backup camera just look at your grid lines when your steering wheel is straight the grid lines should be straight.

Totally agree with Rick. Once you do one (or a few dozen lol) you will realize it's very simple. I'll try and make a video next time I mess with mine.

Also if the clock spring does get rotated, it has to be 360* for the wheel to even go back on and the the truck thinks it is in a skid and the traction control light will be on.

@Ghost_RAM i have been able to stop the speed chime by changing the Country Code in Vehicle Config 1. it was set to Gulf Coast Countries and now it set to Switzerland and no more beep at 120 KMH. In the ECU config 3, it is still set DESTINATION: Saudi Arabia but when I try to change it, but face the same problem as mentioned it post 5714. There is no list of countries tp choose, but a box to enter a value. any way it works well like that.

I have also been able to turn on the DRL following your procedure. I have choose optional DRL, low beam and set them to 9V. I also have set the option in the radio to turn them on and off.

Thank you all for your support.

If you are referring to the voice prompt that you are speeding, it is available in the Navigation Menu on the RA4 uConnect radio.
There are option to turn it on/off and set how many mph/kmh above speed limit to notify

You can log with windows version also. I'm not familiar with the layout so I couldn't tell you exactly where to go

Logs for Windows are in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\AlfaOBD\Logs\

there are 22 different log files for systems

You don't need to change anything for interior lights. I'm using cheap ebay one's and have had zero issues

How did you change the front ones? Do I have to get the led one for them to be led? 98e55e206b32152d7b9d38bd4b263bf8.jpg

Nope. Use a small flat head screw driver or a small plastic trim tool. Gently push in and down and they'll pop out.

Does anyone know if the AlfaOBD allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the rear parking sensors? I got one (driver side) that seems to turn on when stuff is miles away (over exaggerating), and then it just does not turn off. It isn't a bad sensor, because I swapped it with one from the front, and still does it... Thanks!

Just a though...Maybe its position is not accurate, I mean what the sensor is aiming at. Maybe pointing to low?

Thanks but tt is fitted within the factory housing inside the rear bumper. But still, I've tried changing its position, moving it around, and nothing happens... It might just be the connector or wiring that are creating some type of short... I've even taken it to the dealership during warranty and their "tests" said that it was working as expected...‍♂️
