i use it a ton, in a very specific situation

you'be be surprised how often i get in the truck, after a walk and i want the windows down, but i dont want to truck on because i dont want the radio to connect to the phone through bluetooth because im still listening on my earbuds
Yeah, I get it. I have same issue, it with my wireless Android auto. I'll stay connected to it if I'm in the back of my house. Takes a few minutes for usb to power off where I have my wireless dongle.

I’m having issues with my rear air suspension on my 2018 2500 diesel. Will this allow me to start my compressor and help with troubleshooting? I’ve checked fuses and typical electrical stuff. No light when I touch alt trailer height. Just a service air suspension display on cluster display

Yes it will. There is a Compressor Circuit Test that allows you to trigger the compressor from the app. If you haven't gotten Alfa yet, get it! Give yourself a Christmas present that will allow you to work on and fix your truck.

Thank you
It did arrive and tested good. Got under the dash and found a wire had came out of one of the plugs. Reinserted and it’s all working perfect. Thanks for all the help.

Hey all. Hope I'm not re-asking a question but with 738 pages, I figured it would take far less time to just ask than to sift through.
I'm considering this AlfaOBD and OBD Link+ for my 14 ecodiesel but want to make sure it will be able to do ecodiesel-specific tests such as showing high pressure fuel pump pressures, forcing SCR Regens and such.
I like everything else I've read about it so far.
Truck is down right now for, what I'm guessing, is the hpfp issue. Crank, no start. Driving normally and suddenly died.
Need to get this truck back up and running as it's my DD and my backup Wrangler is suddenly down as well.
Thanks for the help! If this will work, I'm ordering immediately! Until then, I have only my BlueDriver code scanner to use for simple diagnostics.

Thanks again everyone!

From looking at the app, it should work for you as it does for others. I looked at the engine section under the 1500, and it had Cummins listed, along with diesel related options. Give yourself a gift this season! Will open up a whole new world of control and testing for your truck. Pending on how old your Wrangler is, Might even work there as Jeep is also covered in the app! Good luck.

Been over in the general section pestering them with questions.
I've sent a few emails to Alpha on Christmas eve day with no response yet. Possibly they closed for the holidays?

I did save the initial configuration but it appears to be in some form of code that i have yet to unscramble.
I struggled quite a bit getting the Quad headlights changed over to LEDs.
I saved the configuration and it again was in a non readable format.
While trying different thing to get the configuration A window opened that asked if I wanted the "Vehicle Configuration Status" changed or set to yes. I inadvertently hit yes.

i have since been able to get a configuration Status saved and printed but it seems different than other examples I've seen. being totally confused at this point (I think).
My main concern right now is the "Vehicle Configuration Status" inadvertent selection and if it's an issue or not. I'll attach a pic of it.
Beware I may follow up with more questions :emotions33:
TIA

Email the file to yourself and open the file using Microsoft Outlook. It reads the file just fine. Don't ask me why, I just know it works. (It shows it as opening within Outlook using Notepad)

Small part of what the file looks like when I open the attachment from an email inside Microsoft Outlook.
