It should be in the body computer CBC fog light dropout enabled. Change to disabled and it will leave them on with high beams.Did you figure this out?
Yes, it was the fog light drop out function, as others mentionedDid you figure this out?
I went through the steps for the backup before I started and have it saved to my Google drive. It did take a couple of cycles for it to register. I noticed last night that it worked. Before you do anything with AlfaOBD, you should do a backup of your configuration. AlfaOBD is very powerful and you can completely hose your truck, if not careful, and a back up can help you sort it back out if needed. Truck may need a few key cycles / a few hours before it all registers after the changes are made. I have not experienced the lag on my '16.
To confirm it went to the vehicle, try doing it again and it will tell you they are already set for LED
It won't change the fan temp. Need an actual tuner to do that.
Do you have the hood interlock switch all wired and operational?Hello all,
Very new to AlphaOBD and have some questions. I have the security bypass module installed and went through the steps to enable remote start. When I query the body computer it shows remote start enabled. When i upload the output file it states that remote start is programmed but not enabled. Any ideas why?

Yes I do. The switch was installed from the factory. And I verified the settings.Do you have the hood interlock switch all wired and operational?
It is very strange. The log file shows remote start present yes, remote start configured yes and remote start enabled yes in one section. No in a different section. Do i need to restart the unit? I did remove the battery connection to "restart" it but not sure if that actually works.Yes I do. The switch was installed from the factory. And I verified the settings.
Would this also prevent the "window down" feature? It did not work either. I will definitely pursue the other options as well. There are different RF hubs. One is standard with just the unlock and the other has the remote start feature built into it.
On your key FOB's that you got with the truck, did they have the push to start icon? If not, that's why the feature isn't working, even with the features programmed.
The correct hood switch may have been installed to simplify the parts supply.
I installed the remote start on my truck prior to having AlfaOBD. Kit came with 2 FOB's, new hood latch with switch, and a new hub. Installed the switch, hung the new hub in place, and went to dealer to have option turned on. When I got to the dealer, plugged in the new RF hub and they programmed it for $100 at the time.
Hope this can help with issue. Good luck tracking things down. Keep us posted.
Window down feature works on my 2017 with tip key. I enabled it in Alfaobd setting. Doesn't always put down my passenger window. I don't really use the feature, just wanted it as an option in case I want to use it.Would this also prevent the "window down" feature? It did not work either.
