Only CSMs should appear in the radio and they're located under car configuration change. I tried getting the CSM to show but it never did on my '16.
Edit: If we're talking about the speed limit chime?
I guess it applied to both. Lol CSMs as far as I know it are the only things that show up in the radio. There maybe something else but it is also located in car configuration change. Well, I say this but with the changes in Alfa maybe something else has changed? Program customer features basically sets what you have enabled. Which is really no different than doing it yourself on the radio. That is unless you don't have the CSM enabled then it wouldn't show up and you would need to use program customer features to turn whatever on or off.I thought Cuda was referring to drl's

Edit: Although, I don't think the speed limit chime is in there??

Yes, that will turn them on and off but it doesn't add anything to the radio.
I was looking to make the drl on/off show on the 8.4Only CSMs should appear in the radio and they're located under car configuration change. I tried getting the CSM to show but it never did on my '16.

had a temporary lapse. It's been a while since I looked at drl's.Yes, that will turn them on and off but it doesn't add anything to the radio.
You would activate that it the Cust-Set menu CSM section.I was looking to make the drl on/off show on the 8.4
That is in car configuration change all the way towards the bottom.I was looking to make the drl on/off show on the 8.4

Customer Service Menus: Daytime Running Lights CSM
Yes, just the approach lights. The puddle lamps are “not set” on factory equipped trucks with mirrors that have “puddle lamps”.
Yup. That’s how mine are set from the factory, and you’ll notice the same on the ones in the shared bcm folder.Interesting to know. I originally added my "all the bells and whistles" mirrors using an OBD Genie (Before Alpha was available) and it set both. I'll have to try un-setting Puddle Lights and see if they still work.

As @Ghost_RAM said, let the truck sleep for a while. I know when you are trouble shooting waiting is the worst part to see if something will change. You could change something that fixes it and not know because the truck didn't have time to take the changes before you changed something else. These trucks are funny when it comes to changes. I agree with the others who have said that the country code might be the key to all this.

Before I contact a dealer to reflash can someone help me understand why my Radio Frequencies no loner work and that XM has disappeared.
Also if I reset the radio and it reboots via engineering menu I see a SRT Splash Screen first NOT RAM and then the radio frequencies will work, still no XM, until I restart the car and then back to RAM splash screen and no radio frequencies and XM. Very frustrating.

It could be a multitude of things and since we seem to be unable to put it back to United States I would definitely recommend going to the dealer and getting the truck re flashed. In most cases we can figure this stuff out but since you do not have a log to go back and compare with it's going to be difficult. Even if you get the truck to work correctly you're not going to know if you got everything changed back or not and then when you might do something as simple as add another option everything could go haywire again. I have had to re flash my truck and a friend's truck when a different device completely crashed our trucks. If you get the truck re flashed from the dealer you know you are starting off with a clean slate. You can make a log file and keep track of things you change and don't change anything you're not sure of unless you post and ask questions first. My concern is as you keep changing things to try to fix it you could possibly make it worse. Sometimes it's better to just throw in the towel and get it fixed. When we were using the AE tool several of us had to get our trucks re flashed and I don't remember anyone having a problem with a dealer not wanting to do it but I know someone posted not too long ago that the dealer refused to re flash the truck because he had tampered with the BCM. Just wanted to mention that to make sure when you approach the dealer to get it done go talk to the service advisor and say look I need you do me a favor and flash my truck. In my case the dealer actually had to flash it twice to get everything back it only takes them a matter of minutes it's just trying to find one that will do it for you. Before I contact a dealer to reflash can someone help me understand why my Radio Frequencies no loner work and that XM has disappeared.

The actual re flash is quite simple I have a friend that works at a Dodge dealership and I watched him do it. They basically do it the same way we do. He will plug your truck in and it will automatically program the BCM for your Vin number and everything should go back to exactly the way it was before you started. I do have an idea though, not sure what you have but any time the dealer adds a code to your truck it automatically re configures your whole truck back to stock plus whatever code they added. If you can think of a code you want the dealer to enable that's available in your trim level then they would basically re flashed your truck and not even know what they did because they would just think they were adding an option.Thank you for your reply and great advice. These are my sentiments as well. Just need to find a good dealer. I do not mind paying but just need a dealer who knows what they are doing.
