I don't have the AlfaOBD yet... I was looking at buying it if there was an option to reduce the sensor's sensitivity, or could better help me diagnose the fault...

You can test it but I have not seen an option to adjust the sensitivity.

Please forgive me if this has been asked a thousand times but I'm ready to pull the trigger on AlphaOBD and I'll need to buy everything including a tablet. Is there a preferred tablet to use with AlphaOBD? I won't have much use for the thing outside of adjusting the settings on my truck so I'd prefer not to buy more tablet than I need.

I bought a kindle fire 7 off Amazon for $50. Did a quick search to find out how to install Google play store (extremely easy) and have zero issues using it with alphaobd. I am I apple user now and only had a note 4 laying around but wanted a tablet.

Need help please my UAQ radio shows the speed limit in MPH but reads your speed limit in kilometers and shows your distance for turns etc in kilometers as well. Distance is set to US but if I try to select "Custom" it unchecks itself and if I go under custom under the distance settings menu on the radio kilometers is selected but when I check miles it unchecks itself too. 2017 Ram 2500 6.7 Tradesman with a 2018 UAQ 8.4

I need some help with a BCM config for a 2015 1500 tradesman edition, with a 6-speed transmission and a column shifter. The original BCM was damaged while the truck was getting body work done and before I could get a backup of the BCM.

I've replaced the BCM with one from a 2014 Sport but it is configured for an 8-speed, electronic shift. The BCM works, but I need to compare the settings in it against what it should be for my truck. To ensure I get as much as possible correct in it.

If anyone has a backup of their config that matches my 2015 6-speed w/Column shift, I could seriously use it to compare mine to.

I think I would take that one to a dealer to have them flash the bcm with the original config for your VIN, you’re never going to get it completely correct trying to use Alfa.

We are thinking that is likely the best way too. But I’m hopefull that I can at least get it running to be able to drive it on to a trailer to get it there.

If you are only adding the radio/ or even doing the complete swap you don't have to change anything.

You do not need any codes to install the 8.4 radio but if you want to do the full conversion with the correct bezel you will need to contact M2mods to get a conversion harness. It is all explained in the 4th gen D.I.Y section. Also a word of advice there is no (special programming of the radio) required in order for it to work in your truck as some retailers claim. Any radio from a 13vor newer Ram or Jeep Grand Cherokee will work once you obtain the unlock code for the radio.
