how long did it take for you guys to get your activation code? I sent email after purchasing software but still have not gotten activation code

I'm guessing your using the Windows version as the Android version doesn't need an activation code to work

Ok looking for some help on VTA, seem to be missing something

On the known working list is says:
IN & Misc: VTA System Present
Select “yes”

Yes isn’t a choice, it’s None, VTA, ITM, ITM no siren

I set it to VTA but it’s still not working and no LED on the dash.

I’ve double checked all the other settings.

Only difference is I have my resistor set to 1K and it works for remote start.
This is exactly how I have mine set on my 2014 Express. I do have an aftermarket remote start on it. Flashlogic ch10. If you have factory remote start maybe somebody else can chime in and offer up there settings.... 5b2785729747ad0d288b80a42a650780.jpg

When did you send the email? He is not based out of the USA/Canada. He is actually in Europe so if you sent it yesterday. Send it again Incase it got lost in the spam folder.

If you sent it today you will have to wait it out overnight.

FYI you could've gone to Walmart and bought any crappie android phone for $20. It doesn't even need to be activated. You then create a Gmail and download the app over Wi-Fi. Done.
Plus side you're not lugging around a laptop. [emoji5]

Another inexpensive route is to buy a $50 Amazon Fire tablet then load the Google Play Store and AlfaOBD on it. Then you can also use it for an app like Torque to monitor vehicle parameters other than what's on the dash.

Or ordered a Bad ESN android phone off eBay. I got mine for $30 and it’s a LG stylo 4

ok I didnt wanna wait so I went and bought a used galaxy tablet and the android software lol

I updated my tire threshholds to 50psi, then went thru the reset procedure on the Radio Hub. turned everything off, I come back a few mionutes later and it keeps saying key fob not detected.
I hit lock and unlock and they work I fiddle with it then it finally recognizes them and starts.

But I still have red lines on my tires in the display and telling me to inflate to 50psi but thats exactly what they are at

I have same settings except I have the hood switch ajar set to yes and my switch usage is set to 1K because that’s what allows my remote start to work.
So the LED flashes but if I open the door with the key no horn?? I don’t know, I’ve made tons of changes with Alfa and everything else has worked flawlessly.

help with tire pressures!

I changed the thresholds to 50psi, which shows on the evic
I went and did the rest procedure for the Radio frequency Hub a couple times now.
Still shows red on all 4 wheels and says to air rear up to 50psi but that is exactly what they are set too.
I even tried going in and changing the setting for TPMS setting to disabled and still have error on screen

What am I missing? This is a 2015 Laramie with every option and feature you could get that year basically

You'll either have to air your tires up more or lower the threshold.

It sounds like he has a truck that came factory with quads? If so, the light fault sense wires aren’t there, and those settings should already be “none”.
@Dan Montano, is the front left parking light actually out? Did you install ALL the lights all at once?

Correct it came with Quads . The front left parking light is not out . All lights work fine . The error comes on the cluster as Parking light out but goes away after a second . And I had the retrofitted headlights installed for 1 month , had to send one back due to condensation and when t was fixed I reinstalled them . Was working fine for about 2 months then this error popped up

Whats the difference in OBDLINK MX AND MX+

The MX+ is supposed to be slightly faster, comes with Enhanced Diagnostics Add-on and works with iOS devices. The price difference is only like $10. If you already have the MX the only major reason to change to the MX+ is if you want to use it with iOS(There is no AlfaOBD on iOS).
I've used the MX for a few years now monitoring engine data while driving and I don't think speed is an issue with it.

I think @Ghost_RAM needs to put this in the OP cause I know I’ve answered the same thing at least 10 times.
