Just getting my mx+ today , swapped quad headlights on 2015 ram 2500 to projector and of course got the flickering right away when I tried led bulbs . First time using alfaobd will be today . Any tips appreciated for setting the led low, and turn signals Appreciated

Using alpha I was able to get the alpharex (from modify street) to stop the flicker and solve the parking light out error as well. If you have any issues getting things resolved let me know. While you are there might as well turn on the global window down and factory alarm features which I did as well.

Mine is a alpha Rex as well so I’m hoping . Did the turn signal last night and that shut off now so I will put the led low beam back in and try that .

Well I thought it worked then driving in to work got the right turn signal out again , checked Alfaobd setting was back to no again . Re enabled and it said was successful not sure what I could be doing wrong here . Any ideas ?
Also somewhere I read I needed the pin for my truck I was able to get it using Chrysler pin puller but not sure where to enter as Alfa has never asked for it . Could that be the reason it’s not saving ?

You only need the pin if you are going to make any changes that require the rf hub.

As far as your errors make sure you have VehConfig 3 high intensity discharge lights enabled, led turn and parking lights enabled. You don't need to change the low beams to led's. If you still get errors after that go to the modifystreet thread and scroll back a few post and there are a few other changes that should solve your problem

For the auto folds- He did say he would check back into it to see if 1)the setting even works on a grand Cherokee, and 2)if it’s a capability issue with the door modules or bcm.

oh I meant the nav while driving but that one also

I used the windows version to force connect to a Charger 2014 radio telematic gateway to bring up the in motion menu settings. I tried to change the override occupant information setting, but it came back as invalid request. Another one I’m not even sure that works on a Charger, let alone a ram.

I had to change both the turn signal and parking/marker lights to LED the first change stopped the flicker of the turn signal and the second change is what made parking light out error go away for me.

I can't see it being impossible. if it's an option for some and not others and the tazar does it with a simple obd plugin

Was there a old version of the app that didnt have the option to change the milage...I recently got a 7 inch evic and bought a used alpha obd and a tablet that had the app already installed, went to change the milage and there is no option to do so....watched a few different videos on doing it and followed them to a tee and it's not there....I did see the option to change hours but no milage...and if so can the app be updated

Yes older versions didn't have the option to update the mileage. Just go online with the Google Play Store and it should update to the latest, there is no issues with licensing either.

If it were to work on a ram, it would work the same way it does for the Grand Cherokees- after the truck is off, when you lock the doors with the fob or the passive entry lock button, the mirrors will fold in. When you unlock the doors with the fob or passive entry, the mirrors will unfold.

High density discharge is enabled
Any ideas ?
