I'm at a hundred fourteen thousand miles and thought I needed new tie rods or something but the alignment shop just did the alignment and said everything else was fine. I do think something is loose or worn out a little bit. Has anyone changed any parts like tie rods idler arms Etc

114K miles Id be looking at all rubber items (bushing, dust boots, etc), ball joints and maybe even shocks.

One time I took my old truck for an alignment the shop said they couldn't do it because the ball joints were bad, so they clearly checked for spec before they did work that wouldnt stick (nice of them). I doubt all shops work like that, though, so its possible you still need to fix stuff to *keep* the alignment they just did.

The 1st step of any alignment is check the steering & suspension for worn parts. Any qualified shop / mechanic should know that.

What chrisbh17 said. Not everyone checks for worn rubber. Although, the dealer should have if you went their. I'd jack the truck up, remove the wheels, and check for play in loose arms / worn bushings.

^^^This.

It is also in their best interest to do so as any worn parts may be repaired at their shop since the truck is already there. If you don't trust the shop to do its job then why would you have an alignment done there?

I'm having a similar issue with my '16 2500 cummins. It WILL NOT stay aligned. I'm almost to the point of new tires. I'm about to get my 3rd alignment in 2 months. I've had it done at 2 different shops and had the entire front end inspected for worn or bad parts. Everythi g checks out. The only thing I can think of is the struts?... it only being 3 years old I wouldn't think they'd be bad, but speed bumps (at slow speeds) slam my front end to the spings.... would this cause my issue? If so what struts would you guys refer me to? It's a daily driver. No off roading for this guy. I already have a leveling kit.
