Amsoil Filter Question?

I went ahead and ordered Amsoil Signature oil along with EaO11 filter and wasn't to sure if it is the right one?

Thanks for the reply, bought it through Amsoil website since the local dealers are either incompetent or don't answer their phones. The website was a little hard to decipher once it came to the filter part.

yea I placed an order on their website too..it took me a while to find everything and now 380 dollars later I have everything I need for motor/trans/and rear diff lol

Just finished replacing oil and filter about an hour ago, it only took 6quarts at first, waited a little while for level to go down then added the 7th quart. I didnt realize at first but Amsoil through in an extra quart not sure if it was by accident or not but now have an extra.

Decided to take out the Air Grabber and BT catch can and put the stock intake back in. Reason being I am going to have dealership do some warranty work on the tailgate and rear bumper for some rust spots since I have the extended paint job warranty and didn't want them to see the mods so the only thing I have in now is the 14" mufflex and 85mm TB.

Oil is working great and engine sounds a little smoother, not expecting to see much MPG gain until I get the grabber back in but the normal was 13.6 all in town. There is definitely a loss in throttle response and the exhaust sounds much more tame without the extra air flow so am anxious to get the truck done and back to its regular mods and hopefully get my Edge 2800 TC installed next week!

Edit: It really hurts putting all that stock crap back in the truck, lol.

I've been running Aimsoil and it has worked flawlessly. Actually making truck drive nicer.

ill let everyone know how I like it, but im going to be adding the stage III valve body and the TC the same time I do the oil swap so idk how much help ill be lol

Update on mpg change for the Amsoil upgrade, am now averaging 14.5 up from 13.6. Will be re-installing VR and Can tomorrow followed by TC Thursday.

gunz, did you uninstall your TC or is this a new install?

Haha, oops guess I should have specified. TC will be a new mod to the list, will be attempting a DIY on this so fingers crossed.

I was about to say, damn, this dude took out his TC just to see how much of a MPG boost he would get from swapping fluids?

Yeah EF THAT!!! Lol, that is asking for trouble haha. I went with the Edge 2800 from Moe's and was originally going to have it installed but decided to put that money forwards a Trinity with HV tune.
