Android Auto

Hi. Having an issue here, maybe it is just my truck. I am trying to set up android auto to show on my uconnect screen in my 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to show. Is there a trick to this or is it just that my truck doesn't have this option? I was trying to get Google Maps up to use while on a trip I made. Thanks.

What radio does your truck have? If your not sure take a picture of the radio showing the screen when the radio is on and attach the picture to your reply here.

Are you plugging in the USB? Plugging in the usb turns the Android Auto app icon on and then you can access Google Maps through the Android Auto. This is on my 2018.

Given your truck is a '17 and the screen shot you have the 8.4A radio. Android Auto support didn't start till the '18 model year with the UAS(non-nav) or UAQ(built in navigation) radios.

Yes, I did plug into the USB, didnt help. but seeing the reply below you looks like mine isnt supported . Thanks
