This is a breeze, no need for a DIY. One bolt, four hose connections; done.

I could use some pointers on this too. Just some pics what hoses go where. Never had a RAM before. Never had a catch can nor heard the need for one until now.

Okay folks, here is a picture of the involved components and where you attach the single bolt. Hemi showing PCV vent.JPG :weld:

The can has its own hose to run from the PCV to the inlet on the can, and another to run from the outlet to the point at which the previous PCV line enters the intake.

The single bolt goes where noted. The most complicated part of the install, and I'm not saying its complicated at all, :shakehead: is removing the air intake and your engine cover first. :angry94:

So just to be sure, the catch can goes between the pcv and throttle body inlet?

The throttle body pointed upward weirded me out, only seen them facing forward

The catch can attaches at the front right side of the block. Hoses from the catch can route PCV outlet to can, and can outlet to manifold.

TB only channels air, unlike a carburetor, so could be sideways, pointing up or upside down :insane:

Ha, true that.

Gotta give moes a call to see if theyre in stock. I only got 400miles on my truck but from what ive heard, the sooner the better.

Warranty issues with installation of this that you may know?

My concern as well. Any warranty concerns?

FWIW I really questioned this mod when I first came upon it. I wondered if the engine needed the intake lubricated with that crap to keep seals moist, or something else?
After all, it really seems to me it's just laziness on RAM's part, or the potential unwillingness they think they'd encounter from owners to monitor and drain another maintenance item on the truck.
I wish I had bought ours sooner. I can't imagine driving our truck without one. The install of ANY can is really as easy as the posts make it seem- its almost impossible to screw up.

I wouldnt worry about any warranty issues with this. It is actually helping your truck because of a lazy manufacturer omission. There is no possible way a catch can could cause something to malfunction and therefore no way a dealership could prove it caused an issue.
