Watched the winter camping video.

Hearing an emergency broadcast system weather forecast and then still camping out in a snowstorm due to it's getting bad is like wearing a ten-dollar Stetson on a five-cent head. Yes, it snowed 2 feet overnight and she could drive out, but then snowstorm predictions aren't reliable.

What's the snow load of the camper when it's up? Seems to me that the weight of 2 feet of snow should have collapsed that camper back to its closed position leaving her squished. I noticed though that there was no snow on top of the camper in the video after 2 feet had fallen. A rule of thumb for average snow weight is 20 lbs per cubic foot. Figuring that the camper roof is roughly 64 square feet x 2 feet of snow x 20 lbs = 2,560 lbs of snow.
