Any Ideas?

Hope this doesn't sound to dumb, but here goes. I have a 3500 Ram diesel. It is the tradesman line with a few upgrades. I noticed that it has a defrost button on the heater dial that lights up when you push it. There does not appear to be any defroster on the back window IE no wires in the back window. Any ideas on what that defroster button is really doing.

i have that on my 1500. works pretty good. i rarely use my rearview mirror so having the side mirror defrost is a great option.

your mirrors should have a defrost symbol on them confirming this. my express is the same way. its stupid that RAM gives you defrosting mirrors and not the back window as well but its better than nothing.

I will have to look for the defrost symbol in the mirrors. I've only had the truck a couple of months, and this is the first cold spell that we have had.
